Environmental Intern/ Remote

Duration : 1 month (01 December to 2023 – 12 January2023)

Beyond Impacts, a leading environmental consultancy company in Sri Lanka, is seeking a dynamic and motivated environmental Intern to join our team for a 4-week period. As an intern at Beyond Impacts, you will play a crucial role in researching and analyzing data, quality control of data, This role will also involve assisting the Environmental Manager with data entering, conducting desktop research on environmental acts and regulations pertaining to latest environmental assessment framework with special focus on solar and wind power project development, proof reading, page settings and preparation of summaries, charts, graphs using Excel.

  • Enrollment in an undergraduate degree or master’s program, preferably in sustainability, Environmental or engineering. Sri Lankan students enrolled in foreign universities are welcome.
  • Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of sustainability, decarbonization, renewable energy and environmental impact assessment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proven experience in writing comprehensive reports.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
